The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government is starting construction technology exchange programme with Iran to extend support in communication and works projects in the two countries, said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Communication and Works Akbar Ayub Khan here Tuesday.

He expressed these views during a meeting with Iranian Consul General Baqir Beigi who called on him here at his office. On the occasion Secretary C&W Shahab Khattak briefed the delegate in detail about mega projects.

On the project, the Minister said that Iran was providing material for Bus Rapid Transit Project in Peshawar and KP government was mulling to extend such cooperation in future projects.
