Chicago Board of Trade wheat futures ended the week higher on technical buying and short covering, as a rally in soybeans helped boost prices across the grains complex, traders said. CBOT March soft red winter wheat closed up 1 cent at $ 5.11-1/2 a bushel, while K.C. March wheat futures also settled up 1 cent at $4.96 per bushel. MGEX March spring wheat finished down 1-3/4 cents at $5.50-1/2 a bushel. Traders said they have been hopeful the drop in wheat prices would woo export buyers to the US market.
