President of Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI), Danish Khan has said that there is an urgent need to resolve gas supply issues to the industry, especially industry in Karachi having a big setback after gas load shedding and low pressure.

Expressing hopes for New Year, he said 2019 could be a year of prosperity and development of Pakistan. He said industry in Karachi should be top in priority.

Danish Khan said that during 2018 the big challenges to the industry, gas shortage, depleting industrial infrastructure and higher cost of production and doing business, were remained same as we were facing them from decades.

He hoped that in the first complete budged prepared by PTI and would be presented in the mid of 2019, this issue would duly be addressed.

S M Muneer said that during previous year when PTI formed federal government after general election, it gave us a hope for betterment in the state of economy.

He also paid tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces, Rangers, Police and LEAs for maintaining peace in the country and applauded their sacrifices in the line of duty.

S M Muneer said that if government would take steps in the right direction, 2019 could be a year of prosperity and development of Pakistan. SVP Faraz-ur-Rehman and VP Maheen Salman said that Pakistan needs long term policy initiatives to strengthen economy and hoped that New Year could prove a new start in this regard.
