According to a notification issued here on Monday by the FBR, Seema Shakil (IRS/BS-21) has been transferred from Director General (Special Initiative), FBR HQ., Islamabad and posted as Member (IR-Operations) FBR HQs., Islamabad. Dr. Hamid Ateeq Sarwar is an officer hailing from the Inland Revenue Service of Pakistan (20th CTP). During his distinguished career, he has acquired extensive professional experience by serving in every functional dispensation of the erstwhile Income Tax Department as well as the Inland Revenue Service.
He has held various senior leadership positions including Chief Commissioner RTO Rawalpindi, Commissioner, LTU Lahore and have also worked as Trainer at Civil Services Academy, Pakistan Administrative Services Academy and Directorate General of IRS Training. He is a medical graduate of King Edward Medical College but has gone on to acquire knowledge about economics, forensic audits and business management in addition to successfully completing various trainings including the 11th Senior Management Course and 107th National Management Course.
He has done course work of Masters in Economics from LUMS (2003-05), Masters in Transnational Crime Prevention from University of Wollongong NSW, Australia (2007) and MBA (Executive) from LUMS (2008-10) where he received NMF Gold Medal. He has been teaching tax laws, public finance, development economics, quantitative analysis of decision making and forensic audit at various public sector institutions and universities since 1998.
In pursuance of Board's notification No.2209-C-I/2018 dated 30.11 .2018, Fazal Yazdani Khan,a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Customs Service has assumed the charge of the post of Member (Legal & Accounting Customs), FBR (Hqrs), Islamabad.
Earlier, Habibullah Khan, a BS-21 Officer of Inland Revenue Service was transferred and posted as Senior Joint Secretary, Science & Technology Division.
FBR has yet not appointed new FBR Member IT. Khawaja Adnan Zahir, a BS-21 Officer of Inland Revenue Service was transferred and posted as Director General, Wafaqi Mohtasib, Lahore. Tasneem Rehman, a BS-22 Officer of Inland Revenue Service was transferred and posted as Director General, Pakistan Institute of Trade & Development (PITAD). Nadeem Dar, a BS-22 Officer of Inland Revenue Service was transferred and posted as Member, Federal Land Commission.
