Moreover, he said that the PEC with its solid reputation as supplier of quality parts to the aerospace industries, secured approvals as sub-contractor from several other leading manufacturers of aerospace industries of Europe and USA.
"To meet the exact demands of aerospace industries, we provide a broad base engineering discipline which includes casting, machining, various protective metal treatments and NDT. The PEC is experienced in cutting large varieties of basic and exotic materials including harder steels, alloys of aluminum and machining of a wide range of castings, forgings and extrusions."
He said: "our capabilities in aerospace industries include conventional machining, 3, 4 &5 dimensional CNC machining (Turning & milling), grinding, copy milling CAD/CAM, electric discharge machining (EDM), etc." Rashid further said that PEC was also engaged in manufacturing of defense products for Pakistan armed forces; adding that the complex was designing, developing and filing rocket, missiles and 500 lbs and 1,000 lbs bombs for Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
In addition, the PEC has also been manufacturing optical equipment for Al-Khalid tanks, armored vehicles and submarines. Moreover, he said the PEC was a licensed manufacturer of Super Mashak aircraft parts.
