PlanX Technology Accelerator, a project of Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has first time partnered with Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), an international platform that operates a variety of projects and programmes in 170 countries, to conduct Global Entrepreneurship Week from 13th November to 16th November at Arfa Software Technology Park, Lahore.

The programmes are aimed at making it easier for anyone, anywhere to start and scale a business. This aim is achieved by enhancing cross border collaboration and initiatives between entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, policymakers and entrepreneurial support organizations.

PlanX will organize different kinds of workshops, sessions and activities on various domains. GEW will educate budding entrepreneurs and startups to improve their standing and perform better by experienced and successful trainers have been brought onboard to conduct the workshops and sessions.

The week kicks off with an awareness session to register a startup with the Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). The session will be conducted by a team from SECP will train the startups about the filing requirements and procedures. On the second day there is a workshop on "Leadership and Theatre" for improving the participants' leadership skills through the usage of performing arts. On third day a workshop on Rapid Prototyping for User Interfaces is scheduled.

It emphasizes on the design process of apps and to think out of the box. The last day will witness a pitching session for selected startups, to improve their pitch and tailor it according to the target audience. Prior registration is required for each session.
