Foreign investors are continuously pulling out their investments from Pakistan''s capital market. According to the current data of National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL), the outflows from Foreign Investors'' Portfolio Investment (FIPI) stood at $253.024 million in the current calendar year from January 01, 2018 to August 20, 2018. Although the quantum of outflows is much less from the corresponding period of 2017 when the foreign investors withdrew $426.248 million from the Pakistan''s capital market, however the trend of outflows continued during this period.
The outflow of over $55.937 million was seen only the current month of August 2018 as compared to $56.404 million in the same period last year.
