Nobel laureate and education activist Malala Yousufzai arrived here early Thursday, more than five years after she left the country following a failed assassination attempt by Taliban gunmen, says Aaj News. Malala arrived in Islamabad from Dubai via flight no EK-614. She will hold meetings with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and other important figures.

The Nobel laureate and education activist, who would be accompanied by her father and mother, will participate in 'Meet the Malala' programme during her stay, sources added. She is expected to stay in country for four days.
