The Punjab Assembly on Tuesday unanimously passed a resolution demanding of the federal government to issue life time passports to the members of Assembly such as they were issued to the legislators of National Assembly. The session of the House started 45 minutes late under the chair of Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal. The House also passed a unanimous resolution demanding a complete ban on prohibited injections used before milking buffaloes.

The resolution regarding issuance of passports to the Punjab Assembly members for five years was presented by Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora and it was unanimously passed by the House after inclusion of amendment by PPP MPA Faiza Ahmad Malik for issuance of life time passports to legislators of the provincial assembly.

While responding to a question regarding primary and secondary health care, Kh Imran Nazeer claimed that doctors were available in 90 percent Basic Health Units of Punjab. The Speaker adjourned the session till 9am on Friday.
