In continuation of its efforts to boost academic and research ties with the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) worldwide, National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) hosted another group of honourable ambassadors, Deputy heads of Mission, and Research Counsellors from a number of countries here on Tuesday. Lieutenant General Naweed Zaman HI, (M), (retd), Rector NUST, along with the senior management of university greeted the guests from Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Egypt, European Union, France, Italy and Iran.

The guests were given a detailed briefing on NUST, focusing on national and international achievements, array of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, state-of-the-art research facilities, R&D, etc. During a thorough discussion, the guests were apprised of collaboration opportunities available at NUST in research, student exchange programs, faculty mobility, etc.

Later, they were conducted to a detailed visit of NUST institutions and Technology Incubation Centre (TIC). In their remarks, the guests lauded NUST for developing a very conducive environment for teaching and research at the cutting-edge. They also vowed to connect NUST with HEIs of their respective countries for meaningful partnerships, said a press release.-PR
