Karachi Tax Bar Association (KTBA) has requested the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to extend the date of e-filing of corporate returns and statement till November 30, 2017. In a letter sent to the chairman FBR, the KTBA said that they were facing severe problems in e-filing of returns of the income of their clients in the cases of companies and were unable to apply for extension of time, due to slow working of IRIS system.

It said that the act of not allowing further extension to the corporate sector was highly unfair and unjustified and requested the board to extend the date of e-filing of returns/statements of companies up to November 30, 2017 to facilitate the corporate sector, as well.
