Sunil, who is on his inaugural visit to celebrate the 10th anniversary of resuming its operation to Karachi, dispelled the impression of any negative business impact on Oman Air after the commencement of SalamAir operations in Pakistan, saying that both airlines had different business model. He said that there was a demand of low cost airline to Pakistan and the prime purpose of both airlines was to promote Oman destination. Furthermore, Sunil said that he had meetings with the airline's partners during last two days in Karachi and they were working on improving visa facility. Later, in his formal speech, he lauded the efforts of TAAP to support Oman Air.
In his welcome address, Yahya Polani, chairman TAAP said Oman Air was always supportive to the travel agents fraternity and termed it as friendly airline for the trade. Ken Marshall, country manager of Oman Air to Pakistan and leading travel agents were also present on the occasion.
