Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan lambasted the PPP's co-chairman Asif Zardari vowing to bring a new era in Sindh by closing the chapter of Zardari's politics. "The person who sold the tickets in black in cinema has now owned one hundred thousand acres of land and 19 sugar mills in Sindh as well as the palaces and hotels in UK, US, France and Dubai," Khan said while addressing a public meeting at the Hatri Bypass Ground, here on Tuesday night.

PTI chairman accused Zardari of plundering the rights of the people, national exchequer and committed great injustices to the masses particularly the people of Sindh. He also blamed Faryal Talpur, sister of Zardari for earning unlimited amount by selling jobs in the province. "Sindh is in grip of poverty and unemployment and the agricultural fields of small growers have been destructed because of the PPP government's corruption," he said, citing that the PPP had formed government six times but provided no basic rights to the common people of the province. He said not a single government hospital had been established which could provide modern health facilities to poor people.

He said that Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari cannot become leader by copying his grandfather Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto because only that person can lead the nation who is aware of the issues of the common people. How could Bilawal Bhutto Zardari be aware of the issues of common people when he never did a job only for one day neither walked one kilometre on roads, he asked and said that being the party chairman, he did not raise question about the corruption and looting of his father Zardari and aunty Faryal.

"Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was a leader who developed mass contacts by visiting every nook and corner of the country and made the party popular among them," Khan said, adding that the foundation of PPP was laid in Lahore and the PPP candidates including ZA Bhutto had won the elections from the constituency which was now called NA-120 Lahore but now, PPP candidate failed to get more than 1500 votes there in the recently-held by-election which clearly proved the failure of the policies of Zardari.

While quoting the remarks of Inspector General Police Sindh A D Khawaja that he cannot maintain order as the police officers had grabbed the subordinate posts by paying illegal gratification, Khan said that how progress and prosperity could be brought in Sindh when the officers clinched the higher posts by paying huge amount to PPP leadership. He alleged that Police in Sindh are being used to crush the political opponents and those who are raising voice for their rights. The PTI chief maintained that his move which had begun against MQM chief would conclude till the elimination of corruption from the entire country.
