On Thursday, BRIndex30 opened at 26,157.24 points and remained positive throughout the trading session. It touched an intraday high of 26,415.22 points and an intraday low of 26,176.60 points and closed at 26,374.43 points which was 217.19 points or 0.83 percent higher than previous close. Total volume was 216,620,400, which was 55.42 percent of KSE All share volume and 109.6 percent of KSE 100 volume. The KSE All Share volume was 390,854,440 and KSE 100 volume was 197,639,960.

BR Commercial Banks Index closed at 9,500.27 points with a net positive change of 28.49 points or a percentage change of 0.3 and a total turnover of 56,381,700 shares. BR Cement Index closed at 8,614.14 points with a net positive change of 116.24 points or a percentage change of 1.37 and a total turnover of 63,028,350 shares. BR Oil and Gas Index closed at 4,894.32 points with a net negative change of -3.3 points or a percentage change of -0.07 and a total turnover of 31,748,500 shares.

BR Tech & Comm Index closed at 1,485.63 points with a net positive change of 5.01 points or a percentage change of 0.34 and a total turnover of 13,391,500 shares. BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 8,249.97 points with a net positive change of 22.01 points or a percentage change of 0.27 and a total turnover of 41,434,900 shares.
