President of Korangi Association Trade & Industry (KATI), Masood Naqi has urged the federal and provincial governments to take serious notice of mismanagement in Karachi and device a compact strategy to resolve all the sufferings of the city. He said that mismanagement in municipal services is now directly affecting business activities in Karachi.

He said that administration of metropolitan city has failed to provide basic utilities to the citizens. "Trodden roads, absence of systematic cleanliness and other routine problems are creating hardships for common person life and due to this mismanagement business activities are effecting directly or indirectly" he said.

Masood Naqi also told that business community of Karachi is trying it's best for playing a part to resolve these problems and even tried to convince the authorities that such issues are causing hurdles in the way of coming investments, but only receives a deaf hear on this.

He further said that KATI and other representative bodies of business and industrialist's community have contributed to make a positive image of city by plantation and other steps for the beautification of the roads and roundabouts. He also mentioned that due to destroyed transportation and poor health care facilities in Karachi, workforce is suffering a lot and due to this their performance is being affected which is causing problems for the industry, indirectly.
