Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) head Dr Tahir ul Qadri on Monday accepted PTI Chairman Imran Khan's invitation to join his party's planned November 2 protest in Islamabad. According to well-placed sources, Imran Khan contacted Dr Tahir ul Qadri and requested his participation in the protest. The PAT leader Khurram Nawaz Gandapur and Awami Muslim League head Sheikh Rashid confirmed the important political development.

Speaking to a private TV channel, PAT leader Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that his party would take part in the PTI's protest. "We will decide modalities about the level of our participation," he said, adding that Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah himself admitted that his government shielded the Model Town killers.
