Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday announced that `Raiwind march' would take place on September 30 instead of September 24.

"Raiwind is not anyone's property. The PTI caravans from all over the country will start march towards Raiwind on September 30. PTI workers will welcome convoys on their way to Raiwind. We have made arrangements for stay for those caravans who will reach Raiwind before September 30. The PTI workers should also collect funds to support the protest march," Imran Khan said this while addressing a party convention in the Capital.

He urged PTI workers, supporters and people belonging to all walks of life to participate in Raiwind March to get rid of the status quo and corrupt rulers and make a new Pakistan.

He said that there are only two ways - we should accept status quo and corrupt rulers and wait for 2018 elections and the other option is we should stand up against them to save Pakistan.

Imran called upon the people to proceed towards Raiwind, adding if Punjab police tried to arrest any of PTI workers, the people will stage protests at police stations.

"If the police in Raiwind tried to use violence, mind it, this is not the party anymore that will bear your violence. We will fight you", he said.

On their way to Raiwind, he said, if PTI workers are stopped, they must tell them that Articles 16, 17, 19 of the Constitution gives the right to hold peaceful protest as this is their democratic right.

While directing his senior party leaders and workers, Imran said that Raiwind march is a test case for them - either they are doing politics for their personnel inertest or for the country. "It would be defining moment to let the country for destroying or to save it by getting rid of corrupt mafia".

"Pakistanis have this choice before them what status quo teaches us is to wait for 2018 elections by forgetting 'Panama Papers' revelations and let them loot country, ruin all institutions, hire all their loyal in public institutions through nepotism. Only poor go to jails and the biggest robber of country becomes the prime minister," he said.

Imran Khan said that those who advise us to sit back and wait for next general election are the people who support the status quo, adding these people include journalists, businessmen and many others.

He said when the rulers were asked for accountability they started blackmailing us. If we take Panama Papers in court they call petition frivolous, he said.

He said that we approached the institutions including Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and Supreme Court for justice but we could not get justice.

He said that NAB should have issued notice to Nawaz Sharif on Panama Papers but it didn't. He claimed that NAB is arresting small thieves but it did not take action against big thieves. He said that according to NAB, corruption of Rs 12 billion is being done in one day in the country. He claimed that a big amount of corruption would be spent to rig 2018 elections by the ruling government.

"Nawaz Sharif has only destroyed democratic institutions but also promoted corruption in this country, and he is destroying ethics of the nation. Nawaz Sharif also appointed corrupt people at high positions," Imran claimed.

"Nawaz Sharif looted billion of rupees of the country and made companies aboard in the names of his children. He made billion of rupees property through offshore companies," he claimed.

"In the west, when leaders lie they are forced to resign. Why? Because they know their institutions are so strong," he said. He said the rulers blackmailed PTI leaders in order to silence them? They say you are thieves too? They bring Shaukat Khanam Hospital under line of attack," he said.

About recent reports which showed PMLN workers and supporters holding batons and rods in their hands allegedly preparing to attack Raiwind March participants, Imran Khan said that PTI workers have always been peaceful in their approach but in case of a clash, we will not spare anyone.

For any violence or attacks on our protest rally, we will hold Punjab government, Punjab police and the two Sharif brothers responsible.
