Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday directed concerned ministries and departments to finalise all required procedures for timely commencement of work on LNG power plants and Sahiwal coal power plant.He was chairing a high-level meeting to review the progress of these projects here at the PM House. The Prime Minister underscored the need for observing legal formalities in preparatory works and agreements and maintaining greater transparency relating to all aspects of projects.

Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar, Minister for Petroleum Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Railways, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and secretaries and senior officials of the ministries concerned attended the meeting.
