All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) Leader Mohammad Mussadiq Aadil has welcomed starting of a fresh round of talks, likely to be held in coming months, between Pakistan and India, terming it a good omen for durable peace in the region.

The APHC leader, in a statement issued in Indian Held Kashmir, said time had proven that Indian made a wrong decision to suspend the talk process with Pakistan last year, Kashmir Media Service reported.

He said India should give up its rigid stance towards Kashmir and come forward for settlement of the dispute in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiri people.

Aadil said durable peace in the region was impossible without the amicable settlement of the lingering Kashmir dispute. He also underlined the need for tripartite meaningful dialogue among Pakistan, India and the true representatives of Kashmiris for resolution of the Kashmir dispute.

Meanwhile, he paid rich tributes to prominent Kashmiri freedom fighter Ghulam Muhammad Bulla on his 40th martyrdom anniversary. He said Ghulam Muhammad Bulla was a brave man and his contribution regarding freedom movement would always be remembered.
