Libraries create the spirit of reading among the students while book reading is not only the best hobby in leisure moments but also a way to the enhancement of knowledge. Keeping in view this fact, Literacy and Non-Formal Basic Education (LNFBE) Department has established 300 mini libraries under 'Campaign for Enhancement of Literacy' in four model project districts.

Advisor to Chief Minister Rai Haider Ali Khan for Literacy and Non-Formal Basic Education Department said here on Tuesday that Unicef has provided "Mena Story" in these libraries which are provided to the learners for reading purposes. Moreover, teachers hold Bazm-e-Adab session in classroom on Fridays in which moral aspects, derived from the books are inculcated in the learners.

Literacy and NFBE teachers have sent report concerning to the benefits of these books and informed that these books are fraught with interesting and charming images, sketches conveying the true morals, information and vocabulary are enhancing the interest of learners in book reading.
