1. Pharmaceutical / Biological Unit:
This unit was launched in 1985 and had association with Sanofi Pasteur - France, manufacturer of Human Vaccines & Immunoglobulin. In 2006, entire SA business has been transferred to SA - Pakistan due to the change of their global strategy and policy.
Now, we market & distribute latest pharmaceutical and biological products including Vaccines, and Blood derivatives of world renowned companies from Korea, India & China having WHO, US FDA, EMEA, CE and ISO certifications.
Usman Ghani, a Senior Pharmacist, is leading this unit from the forefront and Mr. Rashid Nawab having Master's degree in Business Administration both are giving their expertise since a long time in sales and marketing. And the entire team is promoting and establishing our brands in the target markets successfully under their leadership.
2. Diagnostic Unit: In the year 1992 SMS embarked on a diagnostic venture. Since then this unit is catering a good share of Diagnostics products in Pakistan for both Public and Private Sector for Diagnostics Kits, Reagents and Equipments and are representing leading diagnostics companies from USA, France, Italy, Korea, Switzerland, China & India. Mr. Amir Memon being a Group Manager and Biomedical Engineer by profession took this portfolio beyond expectations in a very short span of time after being associated with SMS in 2002. SMS is now recognised as one of the leading supplier of vast range of diagnostic and blood banking products.
3. Homeopathy Unit: SMS entered in the field of Homeopathy in 1990 and become sole agents for BOIRON - France, a reputable name in the filed of Homeopathic medicine.
Besides marketing & distribution of BOIRON's products, we also market Books and other publications of B Jain Publishers, India since many years and now their medicines are also being marketed by us. Dr. Junaid Bukhari, having a vast experience in marketing homeopathic medicines, is looking after the marketing and sales activities of this unit along with his entire team of professionals.
4. Surgical Unit: Another fastest growing unit of SMS established in 2001, Mr. Misbah Ul Qayyum has incorporated many new manufacturers having diversified products. Along with his dedicated team, he is currently focusing and serving the following segments:
Surgery, Anesthesia, Respiratory & Airways, Urology, I.V. Administration, Critical Care, Diabetes Care. And also WHO pre-qualified auto disable (AD) syringes for therapeutic and immunisation use, normal disposable syringes, examination gloves, safety box for syringes and needles.
5. Veterinary Unit: In 2006, SMS launched Veterinary unit and got the affiliation of Sind Poultry Vaccine Center, and M/s. Neuva - Italy through its Sole agent, Well Pharma - Lahore for their Poultry vaccines as a sole distributor till 2011.
In 2009, we got the sole agency from QIAN YUAN HAO (QYH) BIOLOGICAL CO. LTD., China and SHANDONG SINDER TECHNOLOGY CO. LTD. for their Poultry Vaccines and medicines.
