In the elections we are going to the people on the basis of our past performance, people cannot be cheated because they have become much aware and conscious and now the biggest problem of the people is elimination of unemployment and law and order, he said. In reply to another question, Shujaat said that after the elections, new alliances will be formed and our party will play positive role.
He said that post-election period is not appearing good to him; everyone will have to be concerned about the way the matters work and all political parties will have to work together. Moreover, the PML-Q has announced 38 more party candidates for National and Provincial Assemblies constituencies.
Shujaat also announced the names of party's final candidates for another 13 constituencies of the National Assembly after seat adjustment with the Pakistan Peoples Party.
