After posting a huge 192-run total, India survived Pakistan's skipper Mohammad Hafeez's scare to narrowly defended the total by 11 runs in the second T20 match of the two-match series in Ahmedabad (India) on Friday. Chasing a huge total of 192-5, Pakistani batsmen played brilliantly especially skipper Mohammad Hafeez, who could have also snatched the second match as well from the hosts to record series triumph.

Hafeez, who played a match winning 61-run inning in the first T20 match in Bangalore, almost emulated the same in the second match as well with his whirlwind 55-run knock off only 26 balls and brought the team almost within the striking distance of a victory. But his team-mates failed to reflect his splendid inning and Pakistan as the team eventually accumulated 181-7. Earlier, Yuvraj Singh played a swashbuckling inning of 72 runs off only 36 balls to help India post the big total.
