Pakistan Horticulture Development & Export Company (PHDEC), Ministry of Commerce, announced here on Friday that Muhammad Umar, Management Associate Supply Chain Department, PHDEC earned his gold medal in his M.Sc.(Hons) from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad for outstanding academic performance and 4.00/4.00 GPA.

Umar also worked in ASLP project and got Post Harvest Training in Irradiation Research on Mangoes in Australia from ACIAR Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries, Queensland, Australia. He presented his research work in The 7th International Postharvest Symposium (IPS 2012), Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Kaula Lumpur, Malaysia. Currently he is selected in South Asia Post harvest E-Learning Programme funded by the Post Harvest Education Foundation, Oregon, USA.-PR
