People's Party workers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have expressed concern over delay into probe of the party slain leader Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, called for immediate exposing hidden hand behind her murder without any delay.

"If the incumbent rulers were failed to apprehend the killers, the accomplishment of PPP slain leaders' mission would be a difficult task, the People's Doctor Forum (PDF) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter leaders said while speaking at a seminar in connection with Benazir Bhutto's 5th death anniversary. The programme was organised by PDF here at Peshawar Press Club on Thursday.

The PDF leaders strongly criticised party central leadership for failing to make headway in arresting the killers of their slain leader, despite the lapse of about five years to be in power. Prominent among the speakers were included PPP vice president Azam Afridi, party provincial co-ordinator Ayub Shah, Labour Bureau, president Saeed Ahmad Khan and PPP lady worker Saleema Jahangir.

The PPP provincial co-ordinator Ayub Shah said that scarifies of the Bhutto family would never go waste as party workers were determined to follow BB's footsteps for intact of democracy in the country. "We the workers of the party will continue efforts for the wellbeing of the country and masses, adding but the killers of Benazir Bhutto should be exposed and award exemplary punishment, he maintained. Shah also asked party leaders to pay attention towards the party die-hard workers and give them their deserving status.

Besides, the President of Labour wing, Saeed Ahmad said that government should immediately arrest the killers, and ensure to award them exemplary punishment. He added that PPP could not be strengthened until to empower its poor workers. "Our leaders have skip to comply with party manifesto and have preferred nepotism in granting jobs to their family members instead to party diehard workers," he alleged his party central leadership. PDF President Professor Dr Nisar, who was also presiding over the seminar, asked the provincial health department to resolve the problems, especially the service structure issue being faced by the members of Peoples Doctors Forum.
