In Lahore, CNG stations were supposed to reopen on Thursday after three days of closure under gas load management plan but CNG stations remained closed due to low pressure.

According to the SNGPL officials CNG stations in Lahore, Multan, Sahiwal, Sheikhupura, Multan and Sahiwal cities were remained closed on Thursday due to low gas pressure, however SNGPL officials were of the view that they will decide about the resumption of gas to CNG stations on Friday after observing the load on the system.

According to Chairman All Pakistan CNG Association Punjab Captain Shuja Anwar (Retd) CNG stations will open on Friday. People had been facing severe difficulties due to the extended closure of CNG stations. Commuters had to suffer as they were denied the relatively cheaper fuel by gas stations.
