All trade bodies including Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and general public expressed their deep concern over unscheduled loadshedding and low pressure of gas as a result of which not only industrial sector but also the domestic consumers confronting with multifarious problems as Sialkot in the grip of fog and severe chill.

They alleged that government and other concerned high-ups are trying to hoodwink the consumers through their statements whereas ground realities are entirely different and practically nothing has been done for overcoming the electricity crisis. They said that the industrial sector is being adversely affected due to the unscheduled as well as over and again load shedding as a result of which the productivity has become standstill in and around Sialkot.

The government has badly failed in reducing the gap between demand and supply of electricity and only concentrated on increasing tariff of electricity, they said. They alleged that people's government has become blood-sucker adding that there is no justification of increasing 91 paisa per unit of electricity and demanded the government to withdraw the proposed increase in electricity tariff.
