Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) on Wednesday claimed to have arrested three felons including a member of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and recovered weapons in separate raids at various parts of the metropolis. According to SSP Khurram Waris, North Nazimabad police division on a tip-off conducted raid near Qalandaria Chowk and took a man namely Niaz Muhammad son of Gul Muhammad and recovered a hand grenade and a pistol from his possession.

He suspected that the detained person, who was said to be the worker of TTP and might have been involved in several attacks at police stations. Further investigation was underway. Similarly, two alleged target killers, who were involved in the murders of 10 persons, were detained from Orangi Town area. Police officials said these accused persons during initial course of investigation confessed to have involved in the murders of 10 persons. They said the detained persons were said to be associated with one of the political parties. Further investigation was underway.
