Unknown assailants killed at least six persons including five women over an alleged marriage feud here on Tuesday. According to DPO, Rasheed Khan, armed assailants barged into a house located in Sarracheena area of Swabi, Yar Hussain police station jurisdiction and opened indiscriminate fire at the residents. As a result of firing, six persons including a couple, their three daughters and a grand daughter were killed on the spot.

The attackers managed to escape from the scene after killings. The bodies were shifted to hospital for medico-legal-formalities. Police claimed that the shooting incident was the outcome of a family dispute over marriage feud.
