NIT cricket team continued its march on the path of victory when it defeated UBL Fund Managers by 7 wickets in a round match of MUFAP T-20 Cricket Tournament 2012-13 at NED Cricket Ground on Sunday. After winning the toss, NIT put UBL Fund Managers team to bat, which managed to put a meagre 104 runs on score board at the loss of 7 wickets in allotted 20 overs.

Atiq and Atif of NIT took 2 wickets each while Imran of UBL scored 50 runs. NIT successfully chased the target in just 16 overs with 50 runs by Matiuddin Siddiqui, the captain of the team while Khurram scored the second highest of 27 runs.
