Prolonged power outages and low gas pressure have badly hit industrial production in the hub of the country's cottage industry as well as domestic consumers. Socio-political circles have urged upon the government to ensure uninterrupted supply of gas and electricity on X-Mass and birth anniversary of father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam. They regretted that the concerned quarters were reluctant to resolve the serious issue of energy crisis.
