"If such conspiracies are not stopped forthwith, the PTI would launch a huge long march which would sweep away all conspirators as well as the corrupt coterie," Imran Khan expressed these view while addressing Hyderabad High Court Bar Association and a public gathering in Dadu during his mass contact drive in Sindh.
He said the appointment of a leaguer as new governor of Punjab and the congratulatory message to the new Punjab governor by Shahbaz Sharif had fully exposed the 'secret deal' between PPP and PML-N and the PTI had already informed the people of Pakistan that both PPP and PML-N had struck an underhand deal and the new Punjab governor was a joint nominee of both parties.
"The dual local government system in Sindh is a conspiracy to divide Sindh Province. This is unacceptable for the PTI and we would resist this decision. We would hold demonstrations across Sindh if any move is made to divide Sindh," he maintained. Imran Khan categorically stated that peace could not be restored in the financial hub of Karachi until and unless police force is depoliticised. He held Sindh government responsible for the miseries being faced by the people of the province.
He said that dual electoral system had destroyed the country and hence, the PTI would wipe out the system and would establish Islamic Democratic system once came in power.
He said dual local government system introduced in Sindh was not acceptable to PTI and his party would bring a uniformed local government system across the country where there would be no discrimination between the rich and the poor.
Commenting over the statement of Tehreek-e-Minhaj-ul-Quran Chief Dr Tahirul Qadri, Imran Khan said Dr Qadri had supported his party's agenda to hold tax evaders accountable and ensure that justice prevailed, as the national kitty had to face Rs 4,000 billion annual losses only in tax evasion. Lashing out at President Asif Ali Zardari and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif, Imran Khan said they both were playing a fake dual and both had no concerns about masses' hardships.
