Chief Meteor-ologist Muhammad Riaz has said that weather will remain dry and foggy during next 2-3 days in Punjab and upper areas of the country. Talking to a private news channel on Monday, Riaz said that there is a possibility of rain in KPK and its westerns areas during next 24 hours while light rain is also expected in northern areas and Gilgit-Baltistan.

He said foggy weather is turning out to be a permanent feature of Sub-continent as it prevails not only in Pakistan but also in north Bangladesh and northern India. He elaborated that with the decrease in temperature, fog will intensify but during next 48 hours it will start decreasing. He said low temperature with no rain is one big reason for this foggy weather.
