Jamaat-i-Islami Secretary-General Liaqat Baloch said JI election manifesto guaranteed an educational revolution in the country. He said the youth constituted 60 percent of the country's total population. The JI on coming into power would set up separate Youth Department at provincial level.

Soft, interest-free loans would be granted to the talented young men for higher studies and research. Jobs would be guaranteed for the youth.

The JI leader said it is a pity that we have been unable to provide primary education to the 64 percent of the population, while during the last ten years of so-called war on terror more than seven million children remained off the schools. The Pakistani's, he said, are one of the most talented nations in the world; however, higher education facilities remained most costly and limited.
