The futures spreads increased by 170 basis points during the outgoing week ended December 21, up 12.7 percent. However, trading activity on the futures counter witnessed a downward trend and the average daily volumes declined by 33 percent to 5.15 million shares. The average daily trading value also declined by 30.4 percent to Rs406 million.
