Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) on Saturday claimed to have arrested some 23 criminals in separate raids at various parts of the metropolis. New Karachi Industrial Area police arrested a suspect namely Khalid Shah and recovered a TT pistol and a snatched bike from his possession. A case 313/12 was registered against him and further investigation was under way.

Aram Bagh police on a tip-off conducted raid near Pakistan Chowk and detained an alleged criminal Adnan along with weapon. Similarly, 21 suspects were arrested from Jauharabad, Orangi Town, Saeedabad, Bilal Colony, Surjani, Gulberg and Sir Syed areas. The LEAs also recovered seven weapons and drugs from their possession. Further investigation was in progress.
