The prices of gold on Friday slid by Rs 900 per tola to Rs 61, 500 on the local market after the global value of the precious metal receded to $1648 an ounce, traders said. The price of gold per 10 gram dropped by Rs 771 to 52714 from Rs 53485. The global gold price recorded a decline of $21 an ounce, traders added.
