Sindh culture day is being celebrated in the city on Friday like other parts of the province to promote Sindhi culture among the people. A large number of people, dressed in new traditional clothes, ajrak on their shoulders and the Sindhi topi on their heads, thronged the streets of the city to celebrate the day.

In this connection, various programmes including rallies, seminars, musical shows and game events are being organised by cultural groups, civil society and the political parties to mark the day under the cultural promotion and preservation initiatives. The day began with rallies and walks in the entire city. Residents throughout the city donned the caps and danced to the folk songs, reaffirming their resolve to protect the Sindh motherland from conspirators.
