Bears retained in the driving seat on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where losers outclassed gainers amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index showed a decrease of 7.7 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3,258.55 to 3,250.85 points. The overall turnover amounted to 593,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 71,500 shares. Total 137 companies participated in buying and selling activity.

Majority of stocks (69) closed in negative territory, 68 closed in positive territory, whereas no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of PTCL was 200,000 shares. The volume of Lafarge Pakistan Cement was 178,000 shares. The volume of Byco Petroleum was 60,500 shares.
