Upward trend persisted on the wholesale grain market on Thursday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the grams side, grams Australia Dall No 1 picked up Rs 800 to Rs 8500-9000, Grams 50x50 low type gained Rs 300 to Rs 7200 and the best type rose by Rs 400 to Rs 7700, yellow peas Canada picked up Rs 200 to Rs 4900-5100, yellow peas Dall Canada also gained Rs 300 to Rs 5500-5700, yellow peas Russian followed same pattern, gained Rs 200 to Rs 4800-5000, yellow peas Dall Russia was up by Rs 200 to Rs 6400-5600, they added.

The rates on the cereals, seeds and rice sectors were unchanged in the process of slow trading, they said.
