The police on Thursday conducted raids in different parts of the city and arrested over 50 suspected criminals. The arrested suspects included 28 absconders and one proclaimed offender. Police said that it busted gangs of criminals in two encounters and recovered 21 pistols, one hand grenade, one repeater and 10 mobile phones.
