The forum in its executive council meeting, presided over by General Secretary Ghulam Nabi Sumjhi in Srinagar asserted that the proposed fencing would "have a damaging effect on the disputed status of Jammu Kashmir," KMS reported. The forum threatened to organise protests to impress the international community to take cognisance of any conspiracy against the Kashmir dispute.
"New Delhi is bent upon violating the international agreements and directions of international bodies with regard to the present geographical status and cease-fire between India and Pakistan," said the Hurriyet spokesman, Ayaz Akbar in a statement after the meeting.
