Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (Pima) has strongly condemned the brutal killing of lady polio health workers. The insecurity prevails among the healthcare workers from consultants to health visitors. The insensitive rulers are least bothered about the security of general public especially healthcare providers and hence depriving the nation from already deficient health facilities.

Pima also expressed its concerns over increasing incidents of kidnapping of doctors for ransom and extortion. Pima stressed that it was the prime responsibility of the government to provide security to its citizens.
