Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly Muhammad Aslam Bhotani on Wednesday said that he would not budge an inch from his stand just to save his position. Speaker Aslam Bhotani had previously refused to summon and chair the session of the provincial assembly, saying that it would be in violation of the Supreme Court's (SC) decision in the Balochistan case.

He said that he did not value political positions and that although he had the right to defend, he "cannot violate the Constitution and judicial verdicts".
