Taiwan stocks rose 0.2 percent in their first gain in three sessions on Tuesday, with firms that supply parts to Apple Inc posting gains on strong sales of the new iPhone 5 in China. The main TAIEX index ended up 12.46 points at 7,643.74, halting a two-day decline. Largan Precision rose 1.9 percent and Hon Hai Precision added 1.4 percent. Both firms are suppliers to Apple. The Taiwan dollar climbed T$0.049 to stand at T$29.051.
