With a view to selecting a strong Pakistan women cricket team for participation in the upcoming ICC Women's World Cup to be held in India, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Women's Wing is organising 10 matches from December 20 to January 8, 2013 at Lahore. The matches will be of 50 overs a side and will be played in two rounds.

In the first round 30 selected will be divided into two teams and will play seven matches against each other. After the completion of the matches, the team will be selected. The selected Pakistan team will play round two, which will comprise of three matches to be played against U-17 boys.
