However, responding a question he made it clear that "we don't know whether a particular group is creating ugly situation to get the election postponed or delayed and if so, the government would not be responsible for that," he added. Responding another question, the Federal Minister for Political Affairs said "we do respect the judiciary; our leadership attended the hearings of court, accepted its decisions and avoided confrontation" and said he always advocated that confrontation between people and institution was not a good omen for the country and nation.
Responding a question about the public gathering organised by anti-PPP alliance on December 14, at Hyderabad, Chandio said that "we do respect of Pir Sahib Pagara and agreed that Pir Sahib has strength of his followers to demonstrate such gathering." He said Pir Sahib was regularly holding such gatherings in every year but difference in this gathering was that it was conducted in big city like Hyderabad rather than a little village. Besides, the speech of Pir Sahib was also different than other speakers.
Placing an example, he said all speakers opposed construction of any dam on River Indus whereas Pir Sahib opposed the Kala Bagh dam by virtue of its location. Pir Sahib even offered his support, if the location of dam is shifted to upper side, he added.
He said that coming election would be unique one in such a way that all political parties including those who did't believe in parliamentary politics would participate in coming elections directly or indirectly envy of PPP. He said PPP was ready to contest and "we are optimistic to win the coming election because of our services to the common man."
While talking about the fifth death anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, Moula Bux Chandio who was also the Vice President of PPP Sindh Chapter said December 27 and April 4 were the important days for the PPP. He said that December 27 in this year was more important because it was coming before the general election, adding that a big but historical public gathering would be held by PPP alone on December 27 at Garhi Khuda Bux.
Responding a question, he said he was not aware of the fact that when PPP was going to dissolve the parliament, however he made it clear that PPP to hold general election on time with free and fair manner. Sindh Minister for Fisheries Zahid Ali Bhurgari, General Secretary PPP Hyderabad District Syed Fayyaz Shah, Vice President Amanullah Siyal, Pasha Kazi, Sagheer Qureshi, Shahid Ansari, Roshan Solangi, Aftab Khanzada and other party workers were present on the occasion.
