Disgruntled workers of Pakistan People's Party have criticised the central and provincial leaders for ignoring ideological workers, asked for awarding party tickets to ideological workers in the next general elections. They expressed their reservations during a seminar organised by PPP Ittihad Workers Union at Peshawar Press Club on Tuesday.

Speakers were included, Nazneen Badshah, Fazal Wahid, Haji Iftikhar, Maulana Habibul Rahman, Haji Waseemullah, Noor Zameen, Wali Babar, Mohammad Riaz, Nadeem Khan and others. The PPP workers criticised that the party leaders had failed to resolve problems despite rising issues several time at provincial and central level. They said the ideological workers have no respect in the party, because they are believed in policy of selection.

They informed the PPP provincial president Anwar Saifullah Khan had promised that he will take worker Ittihad union before formation of provincial and district cabinet of the party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. But he didn't honour his commitment and unilateral decision was taken in this regard.

The speakers said that the policy was tantamount to deprive workers from their right. "We are not against the party elected representatives", they remarked. They said that the workers were joining other parties due to wrong policies of party leadership at centre and provincial level.
