Staff of the Town Planning Wing of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) sealed three plazas situated along Model Town Link Road on Tuesday because of their default of payment of demolition charges. According to a LDA spokesperson, these plazas included Tariq Complex, China Market and Bridal Centre.

Meanwhile, LDA's Governing Body constituted a selection committee for recruitment of Director Computer Services, LDA, on contract basis. LDA Director General Ahad Khan Cheema will be the chairman of this committee. Also, the LDA Director General transferred Rehan Athar, Deputy Director (Procurement), LDA and posted him as Deputy Director Co-ordination and Implementation, LDA. He will also hold the additional charge of the post of deputy Director (Procurement), LDA.
