Modern Extraction Facility
Herbion is constantly striving to bring qualitative improvements in its systems. While following the best practices, up-gradations with implementation of latest technological developments are made in the extraction facilities to enhance and preserve the natural and active ingredients present in the herbs. Herbion maintains well equipped and automated Extraction units, which extract all types of herbs while carefully ensuring that the natural goodness and efficacy of the herbs is not compromised.
Moreover to keep abreast with international standards a modern, well equipped and automated herb spray drying extraction plant is being established which is currently in the completion stage. The said plant which is based in Lahore will be one of the largest spray-drying facilities in this region that will run with most advanced technology which assures extraction of all types of herbs while maintaining complete quality control standards. During the entire process, strict compliance of procedures are adopted and followed. Precision is the key to chemical, physical and microbiological controls which is applied to each step of production process and designed to satisfy the international standards of cGMP.
Expansion of Manufacturing Facility
Herbion recently acquired a state of the art manufacturing facility in Islamabad previously owned by Pfizer Pakistan. The building infrastructure is laid out on area of 11.3 acres with built up area of roughly 70,000 square feet. It is well planned having warehouses, utility buildings, manufacturing and packaging facilities and was used by Pfizer to manufacture and pack pharmaceutical complying with ISO 9001 and 14000 standards.
The purpose behind the acquisition of this facility is directly aligned with Herbion's Vision which revolves around diversification and stepping into wide-ranging categories in order to cater the sophisticated and ever growing demands of today's consumers.
